First the fish , then the gerbils...watch out cat & dog!

One of the bad parts of moving is what to do with the pets...

especially when it is way far away...

The fish were sold back to the fish store, Aquatek ... as Anna said " the fish were just put in a bucket" (you've gotta imagine that with a little sass and attitude!)

The gerbils have found homes in various new homes...

And next is the cat -

as neurotic and confused as she is... she's off to "camp" (that's what we call the kennel so the animals don't get stressed - they believe us, too!!) before the packing starts on Saturday. Then she'll be relocated to the Pyle Family Animal Home for Wayward Humans. Mom and Dad (Grandma & Papa) are suckers for animals... in fact, that is where the name of our first cat got her name ... Lollypop ...Dad was "suckered into it"!

Abbey the dog will hang with us until the very end of our stay in Austin...well, until we leave the house - then she's off to the PFAHWH, too. (that's pronounced puff-AHH-wh) As much as we would love to, she just wouldn't be up to the 20 hour flight and such to Chennai. We'll miss them all dearly.
