Parry's Corner...

There is a "district" in Chennai referred to as Parry's Corner... if you need something, some say, this is where you find it. This is also where you could easily get swallowed up by humanity...lots of people bustling around (leaning towards saying "millions of people" when that might be just a touch shy). I missed getting a photo of the ox cart going through the busy busy streets... it was moving too fast! We actually had a "reason" fr going to Parry's Corner... shopping for some fabric & decorations for the upcoming PTA Ball (yes, I'm on that committee!). It just so happens, we ended up there on the day of "Holi Festival" a celebration of color & celebration of good over evil. It's a seriously big deal up north. We ran into a few small groups of school aged boys out having fun, tossing colored powder on folks...
